Yoga Sol Kids- classes for ages 0-18 – Registration and Information

Baby and Me 
(newborn- crawler w/ a caregiver) 

Mondays, 11:30am-12:15am
with Lindsay Fletcher, CYT Karma Kids Yoga
10 Classes, $230. 1/13-3/31 (no class 1/20, 2/17)

Moms, Dads and caregivers come together in a supportive environment for both themselves and their babies. Poses are focused around the changes taking place postpartum and target parts of the body that may need extra relaxation during this year. The babies love the interactive poses with their caregivers and the start of early socialization with the other babies

Toddler and Me
(ages 1-3, with a caregiver)

Mondays, 9:00am-9:45am

Come explore the benefits of yoga right along side your little one! This class will focus on promoting body awareness, physical strength and exposure to guided meditation. Toddler and Me Yoga will include age appropriate yoga poses, breathing practices, and playful movement and music exercises. Repetition and consistency in the class structure will allow you and your toddler to keep practicing even when you’re home. This class is a great opportunity to bond with your little ones. All levels welcome. 

Young Budding Yogis
(Yoga and Mindfulness for ages 4-6, co-ed)

Tuesdays, 4:45-5:30pm

These classes offer a balanced yoga class that meets the playful and exploratory needs of a preschooler- first grader. Focus will be on strength, balance flexibility… and FUN. We will explore mindfulness and breath techniques–tools for self-regulation that foster an understanding of how body and mind are connected and nurture a positive self-image. 

Budding Yogis 
(Yoga and Mindfulness for ages 7-9,

This fun and playful class will encourage your child’s self-expression as well as building social skills. They will develop body awareness through basic yoga poses and acquire the tools for self-regulation and centering through mindfulness techniques. Kids play games, create art projects and practice yoga in a safe and compassionate environment.

Young Warriors 
(Tween Yoga and Mindfulness for Boys ages 9-13)Fridays 4:15-5:14pm with Rene Biemer,
CYT Little Flower Yoga. 
10 classes $230. 1/17-4/3 (no class 2/21, 3/13)

In today’s high-tech world, it is becoming more of a challenge for boys to focus on the tasks at hand and engage in “tech-free” activities. In this asana (movement) based class, your tween will learn fun and engaging ways to move and strengthen their bodies to release their energy.  Tools for focus and concentration skills will also be taught.  No yoga experience necessary. Led by Rene Biemer, CYT thru Little Flower Yoga and RYT, Kripalu Center of Yoga and Health.

Young Warriors 
(Tween Yoga and Mindfulness for
Middle School Girls ) Thursdays, 3:30-4:30pm, with Kristy Cohen CYT Little Flower Yoga 10 classes, $230. 1/16-3/26 (no class 2/20)

Participating in yoga & mindfulness practices build awareness & understanding of the mind-body connection. As tweens explore who they are, these life long tools help manage stress, emotional regulation, and other challenges facing this transitional time from child to teenager. This class will focus on the importance of self-care rituals through yoga, guided meditations, and mindfulness techniques that support a positive self-image, and build inner strength and emotional intelligence. 

Girls Teen Yoga- Mini Class 
(Yoga and Mindfulness for girlsages 14-18) Thursdays 4:45pm-5:45pm, with Alexa Wolkoff RYT, guest teacher Little Flower Yoga – 4 classes, $95. 2/6-3/5 (no class 2/21)

This class will explore yoga both on and off the mat.

We will look at yoga as a practice for creating greater self-acceptance, alleviating anxiety, increasing body awareness, addressing body image and personal power. Ways of living more compassionately towards ourselves and others will be explored in each class. 

Yoga asana (physical postures), meditation, mindfulness techniques and breath work will be incorporated. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
