Prenatal Yoga- All levels welcome.
Through gentle stretching and strengthening, you will cultivate your own intuition when it comes to the transitions your body experience before, during and after childbirth. This workshop is designed to take you beyond the physical practice and offers breathing techniques, stamina exercises, meditations and rich discussions designed for the expectant mother. We will build a supportive community of mothers in all trimesters of pregnancy. Please speak with your doctor or midwife before beginning your practice.
The series runs for 6 consecutive Thursdays, 7-8:15pm and runs 2/28- 4/4. $150.

Julie has been a practitioner of yoga for more than 17 years. During that time, she completed her 200-hour training with Three Sisters Yoga, and was trained to teach children yoga through OmSchooled. She has had the privilege of teaching yoga to children around NYC city schools and at Harlem Yoga Studio. When she became pregnant with her first child in 2015, she sought out training through Maha Mama to earn her Prenatal Yoga Certification and concurrently completed her training to become a Certified Holistic Health Coach. Julie recently became a mother of two with the birth of her 2nd son in June 2018. She is passionate about empowering moms and moms-to-be by creating a space for them to support one another during this unique season in their lives.
