Rene came to yoga as a source for deep emotional healing nearly 5 years ago. After her first class, she became an avid practitioner at Yoga Sol and received her RYT-200 from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Rene is passionate about her practice, bringing a sense of playfulness and ease to her students. An ex-marathon runner, Rene started off with a more physical practice but soon learned that the internal benefits is what helped transform and heal her. She feels that yoga is a way of life, a source for healing, calming, uplifting and accepting. Her goals as a Kripalu yoga teacher are to inspire those around her to go deep within and accept themselves. She brings joy and love into her practice, allowing room for her students to find their own edge then guiding them to quiet their mind through breathing and meditation. Rene brings her Kripalu yoga training into a Mindful Vinyasa class by leading her students thru a slow steady flow of poses while allowing them time to pause and go within. She is very excited to be teaching at Yoga Sol, where she found her love and commitment to yoga.
