Sometimes we choose a path and sometimes it chooses us. Yoga came to Lisa 5 years ago at a time when she needed healing. Yoga offered a deep connection to the mind, body and breath as well as a way of stilling the mind. She found that for her the practice of yoga, mediation and pranayama along with the study of it’s philosophies offers the ability to be more fully present in ones life with kindness and an open heart to ourselves and the world around us
Lisa has a masters in social work and has always been drawn to ways to support the healing of others. Teaching yoga has been an organic extension of this work. She received her 500hr RYT certification from Yogaworks. She believes we all have gifts to share and Lisa is grateful to be able teach and learn together in the yoga community. She brings meditation and awareness of breath together with alignment and flow to her classes. She is happy to be joining the Yoga Sol Community.
