Mommy and Me (newborn- crawler) 

On-going class, no registration necessary- TBDMoms come together in a supportive environments for both themselves and their babies. Poses are focused around the changes taking place postpartum. The babies love the interactive poses with their moms and the start of early socialization with the other babies.

 

Young Budding Yogis (Yoga and Mindfulness for ages 4-6, co-ed) 

       with Erin Trapasso, CYT Little Flower Yoga  

Mondays 3:30-4:15pm, 8 classes begins 1/22

This fun and playful class will encourage your child’s self-expression as well as building social skills. They will develop body awareness through basic yoga poses and acquire the tools for self-regulation and centering through mindfulness techniques. Kids sing, draw and practice yoga in a safe and compassionate environment. 

 

Budding Yogis (Yoga and Mindfulness for ages 7-9, co-ed) 

Fridays, 3:30-4:30pm 9 classes, begins 1/19

with Kristy Cohen CYT- Little Flower Yoga   

These classes offer a balanced yoga class that meets the needs of both boys and girls as their bodies are changing and growing quickly. Focus will be on strength, balance and flexibility, as well as mindfulness and breathing techniques- tools for self-regulation. The class will foster and understanding of how body and mind are connected and nurture a positive self-image. 

 

Young Warriors (Tween Yoga and Mindfulness for Girls ages 10-14)                                                                                      

Tuesdays or Thursdays, 4:30- 5:30pm 9 classes, begins 1/16 or1/18 with Cathy Anfiteatro, RYT
Tween stress is becoming more widely understood and common. Participating in a yoga practice can help teens relieve this stress, explore who they are, and provide a positive influence of themselves and their bodies for the rest of their lives. Tween yoga classes will offer tools to guide students in self exploration, provide ways to handle stress, anger, anxiety, depression and other challenges facing this transitional time from child to teenager.

 

Young Warriors (Yoga and Mindfulness for boys ages 10-14) 

      Wednesdays, 3:15-4pm 9 classes, begins 1/17 with Argos Gonzalez, CYT Little Flower 

A fun and challenging yoga class that meets tween boys right where they are. Laughter and energy are highly encouraged! The focus is on feeling good in your body and understanding how that leads to feeling good about yourself in every way. The boys build strength, balance and flexibility while they learn breathing and stillness techniques to help calm the senses.
