Yoga Sol Kids classes run on the schedule of the Croton Harmon Unified School District
Mommy and Me (newborn- crawler)
On-going class, no registration necessary- $20 drop-in- Mondays, 2-3pm with Alexa WolkoffMoms come together in a supportive environments for both themselves and their babies. Poses are focused around the changes taking place postpartum. The babies love the interactive poses with their moms and the start of early socialization with the other babies.
Young Budding Yogis (co-ed 4-6) 8 classes- 4/24-6/19
Mondays, 3:30-4:15 or 4:30- 5:15pm with Erin Trapasso
Children will develop body awareness through basic yoga poses and will acquire the tools for self-regulation and centering through mindfulness.
The practice will take place in a safe and compassionate environment.The methodology is inspired by Little Flower Yoga, founded locally in Croton-on-Hudson.
Budding Yogis (co-ed 5-9 yrs) 9 classes
Tuesdays, 4-4:45pm with Kristi Lynch (4/18-6/13)
Fridays, 4:15-5pm with Kristy Cohen (4/21-6/16) Students learn how everyday physical, mental and emotional challenges can be recognized and managed through the use of yoga poses, breathwork and visualization.
Tween Yoga (girls 10-13 yrs) 9 classes
Tuesdays, 5-6pm (4/18- 6/13) OR Thursdays, 4:30- 5:30pm (4/20-6/15)- with Cathy Anfiteatro Tween stress is becoming more widely understood and common. Participating in a yoga practice can help teens relieve this stress, explore who they are, and provide a positive influence of themselves and their bodies for the rest of their lives. Tween yoga classes will offer tools to guide students in self exploration, provide ways to handle stress, anger, anxiety, depression and other challenges facing this transitional time from child to teenager.
Young Warriors (boys 9-13 yrs) 9 classes- 4/19-6/14
Wednesdays, 3:30-4:15pm with Argos GonzalezA fun and challenging yoga class that meets tween boys right where they are. Laughter and energy are highly encouraged! The focus is on feeling good in your body and understanding how that leads to feeling good about yourself in every way. The boys build strength, balance and flexibility while they learn breathing and stillness techniques to help calm the senses.Kids Yoga
