In the early 2000s, Kristin began practicing yoga in converted attics, makeshift nursery room studios, and tiny gym spaces. Through the years, she has learned that yoga isn’t about where you are or what poses you can (or cannot do), but instead, it is about how you react and respond to challenging situations, and what might be learned as a result.
After 14 years as a public school teacher, Kristin seeks to combine her love of teaching with her love of this unique and transformative practice. Her classes combine ancient yoga traditions with a modern twist—a practice that respects and honors tradition, yet connects with our needs today in effort to enhance our everyday experiences on and off the mat. In Kristin’s classes, students will quiet the mind and build heat from within by developing physical, mental, and emotional endurance through breath-synchronized movements. In honoring all students, her classes strive to leave participants feeling stronger, more focused, and refreshed.
